Citizens can verify their Savings Fund income and accrued returns

Citizens can verify their Savings Fund income and accrued returns (calculated based on the Bank of Mongolia’s policy rate) via the E-Mongolia platform. To check your balance, go to the "Profile" section, select "My State Information" (Төрд байгаа миний мэдээлэл), and click on "Chinggis Khaan National Sovereign Wealth Fund." The usage of these funds is regulated by law. In accordance with the Law on the National Sovereign Wealth Fund and relevant regulations, the funds in your named account may be used to finance: Education; Healthcare; Housing down payments. The Law on the National Sovereign Wealth Fund mandates that these funds represent the fair and equitable distribution of the benefits from Mongolia’s subsoil natural resources to current and future generations. Currently, the fund is capitalized by 34% of the state-owned dividends from mining companies within the "Erdenes Mongol" Group.

CKSWF Presents Current Status and Strategic Roadmap to Parliamentary Working Group

The Working Group tasked with formulating recommendations on the National Sovereign Wealth Fund and transparency in the extractive industries convened to review the current status, future measures, and operational plan of the Sovereign Wealth Fund. During the session, B. Temuulen, CEO of "Chinggis Khaan Sovereign Wealth Fund" LLC, presented the Fund's current standing along with a strategic roadmap and solutions based on the best practices of international sovereign wealth funds. Following the presentation, he addressed inquiries from the Working Group members. Additionally, the session included a presentation and discussion on the draft law regarding the "Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative" (EITI). Background: The Working Group on the Sovereign Wealth Fund and Extractive Industry Transparency was established by Decree No. 523 of the Speaker of the State Great Khural (Parliament) on December 26, 2025.

Citizens Can Verify Savings Fund Balances via E-Mongolia

Citizens can now access the E-Mongolia platform to view their account statements for the "Savings Fund", including accrued interest calculated at the Bank of Mongolia's policy rate for the first half of 2025.
