A Citizen Savings Account is an individual account created for each of Mongolia’s 3.5 million citizens,  where savings began to accumulate since 2024. These savings grow annually through dividends from state-owned mining companies and returns that are not lower than the Bank of Mongolia’s policy rate. Accounts are created automatically for all citizens, and the opening, registration, and permitted uses of these accounts are governed by a resolution approved by the Government.
