Citizens can verify their Savings Fund income and accrued returns

Citizens can verify their Savings Fund income and accrued returns (calculated based on the Bank of Mongolia’s policy rate) via the E-Mongolia platform. To check your balance, go to the "Profile" section, select "My State Information" (Төрд байгаа миний мэдээлэл), and click on "Chinggis Khaan National Sovereign Wealth Fund."

The usage of these funds is regulated by law. In accordance with the Law on the National Sovereign Wealth Fund and relevant regulations, the funds in your named account may be used to finance:

  • Education;
  • Healthcare;
  • Housing down payments.

The Law on the National Sovereign Wealth Fund mandates that these funds represent the fair and equitable distribution of the benefits from Mongolia’s subsoil natural resources to current and future generations. Currently, the fund is capitalized by 34% of the state-owned dividends from mining companies within the "Erdenes Mongol" Group.
