CKSWF Advances Global Integration with IFSWF Associate Membership
The Chinggis Khaan Sovereign Wealth Fund (CKSWF) has taken a decisive step toward international integration following its participation in the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds (IFSWF) Annual Meeting in Abu Dhabi from October 29–31, 2025.
At the summit, CKSWF formalized its intent to join the Forum as an Associate Member. This status serves as a strategic bridge for nascent funds, offering a dedicated 18-month framework to adopt the Santiago Principles—the global benchmark for governance, transparency, and prudent investment.
CEO B. Temuulen represented the Fund at the exclusive "CEO Forum," joining peers from the world’s largest sovereign wealth funds to address geopolitical shifts, digital transformation, and sustainable investment trends. Parallel to the main sessions, the delegation advanced bilateral ties, holding strategic talks with the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) and Mubadala Investment Company focused on technical cooperation and institutional capacity building.
Commencing the IFSWF accession process underscores CKSWF’s commitment to aligning its governance with international standards. This initiative is central to building global investor confidence and seamlessly integrating Mongolia’s sovereign wealth into the broader financial ecosystem.
