In recent days, certain online platforms and individual social media accounts have repeatedly circulated unverified and defamatory information regarding Chinggis Khaan Sovereign Wealth Fund LLC, which we deeply regret as such content harms the company’s reputation and infringes upon the lawful rights and interests of our employees.

Chinggis Khaan Sovereign Wealth Fund LLC was established in accordance with the Law on the Sovereign Wealth Fund, Parliamentary Resolution No. 30 adopted to implement the law, Government Resolution No. 223 of 2024 and Resolution No. 42 of 2025, as well as the decision of the Board of Directors of Erdenes Mongol LLC. The company does not directly manage or expend the budget of the national sovereign wealth fund; rather, it operates as a subsidiary of Erdenes Mongol LLC.

Within its mandated functions, our company is undertaking comprehensive assessments of the fund’s revenue sources, allocation principles, asset management structure, expenditure patterns, and overall governance framework, and is implementing measures to strengthen the enforcement of relevant legislation. This includes defining investment policies, model portfolios, risk limits, and target returns for the specialized sub-funds in line with international best practices; building an integrated macroeconomic data and modeling system; presenting policy options to diversify the mortgage-dominated financing structure and improve citizens’ access to housing finance; and developing a roadmap to establish a long-term, stable, transparent, and independent fund governance system that aligns with the Santiago Principles.

All company activities are carried out strictly in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and oversight mechanisms. Our financial operations comply with the Budget Law, the State Austerity Law, and the Accounting Law. Procurement is conducted transparently and fairly in line with the Law on Procurement of Public and Local Government Property. All financial transactions are publicly reported on the Ministry of Finance’s “Glass Accounts” website. The allegations being circulated by certain individuals distort facts, constitute clear defamation, and are intentionally misleading the public, which we hereby state with full responsibility.
